Final Digipack

Here we go! After two exhausting weeks of cutting, changing, cropping and inserting we are finally done! That is our Final Digipack!

Six stills from our video, one cut round, so that it looks like a CD, two others written on with the Title names, one cover with our Production logo, on picture and the closing page with the copyrights on it and a barcode.

Overall I believe it meets our targeted group and satisfies its purpose.

Lets rock the Evaluation!

This is our music video advert for a music magazine, i have yoused a still from a sceen in the video, i then desided to youe the Ministry of sound logo and along with the hmv logo.
Over all i think it is grate and it brings acros the right ider and grabs the aurdeonce we wont.

Changes

Due to font problems Will and me decided to go for the font: Digital

Our previous font choice was Apple Gothic, however we are working on Windows and this font is not available.
Our new choice however works really well with the party image we are representing in our video.
Additionally there are no continuous problems coming up because we only used one bit of writing in the video, which is our logo and lost its original shape after a bit of photo-shopping.
So look out for D I G I T A L !

Feedback

Well, we showed our video to our class mates and collected feedback - positive as negative.
However is the negative feedback, not necessarily negative, it is important to give our video the last improvement and try to make it perfect.
Things we have to improve are to:

- Make the first seconds a still picture and put in the titles (name of the video/ our name)

- Delete a shot due to double appearance

- edit the Flashback on the beat

- editing everything on 4 bar edit

- Add more shots to complete the story line (Stan/Tori)

- Get our couple getting closer

- Make a proper fade out

If all this is done, we will head to the ancillary task!
Hi, this is our second rough cut,, we have developed it a lot compered to the last rough cut, so sit back and enjoy.

from Will and Freddy
Hello there from Freddy’s Will

Well after a very long week we have finally finished our second rough cut, we are both very happy with the out come so far, there were several problems we incanted whilst editing this was manly getting each shot on the dance beat but we have done it. The editing was and still is grate fun and it really has been a learning curve, in the way of using new editing techniques compared to last year.

So the necked step is to show the video to our pears and get there feed back and see what they like and what they don’t like about it, it is vital to get this information as it is the only way in which we can improve and develop our move to the necked level. Along with this we both need to start on our ancillary task, which we will get stuck in to some point this week.

Back - and off to work again!

We are in this term now for almost two weeks again and just about to finish this massively exhausting editing.
In the Christmas holidays I have been using my Flip Camera on New Years Eve to get some extra shots that weren't possible to get in school.

Now Will and me are editing those into the other bits of film we have and make it look fluent.
However do we experience how long it actually takes to render HD quality videos, it is a pain and gets us behind in our schedule.
However are we working extra hard to finish it as soon as possible =)

The only further things to do are the last 30 seconds of editing in the already taken videos and then we are done!!!

However after this, we will go on working on the ancillary task and finish it off!
