Filming progress

Incredible!
Yesterday we used for the first time a Flip HD ready camera in normal light -  and we have been  absolutely overwhelmed by its quality.
We managed to film almost another third of our film in 90min, as well because of Flip's easy use.

At the moment we are doing a rough edit and get the last missing scenes togehter with the amazing Flip camera.


We highly recommend filming with Flip by Cosmic - even for personal use.

Risk Assessment

As we a know health and safety is coming in to our lives more and more,  so at Freddy's Will we have come up with the possible problems which could occur during our filming.

Our biggest concern is not the filming in school,  but the possible filming out of school in the night club, this is because it will not be a controlled environment and there will be alcohol consumed at the night club, so there is always the possible problem when alcohol is consumed.
Also in the club, we will be concerned about filming in a area with a lot of people, so will organise a area which will be away from the mane crowds.

Over all every thing should be fine as long as people behave them selves, and it should be a very enjoyable evening and along with getting al of the shots we wont it should be a huge success.

TAKE TWO

Today is the second day of filming. Will started filming already on the weekend - and now where I am back we are going to film the main part of our movie. For this section of the movie we need our main actors which we just changed to other persons, because we realized that our former actors weren't reliable enough. We need certain probs, as for example the girls being dressed up, two mobile phones, a bar, and obviously the location.
As soon as this is all filmed we did our second part of our movie and would be ready for the first rough edit.
Additionally we started thinking about our digipack and decided to involve Andy Warhol in the advertising.

Research

I have found in my research that song writers and producers such as Swedish house mafia and Basehunter, tend to let them selves enter the press just before they wont to release a album. They also go on chat shoes and they also tend to form a website for there promotions were they will put up teasers etc.

They also sell them selves on there appearance, what I mean by this is they will ether do something really weird and something very cool. I also found that most of the photos of the Swedish House Mafia are taken in black and white, this gives them a very dark and in my opinion a cool look. But Basehunter on the other hand ether has his photos taken in full choler or black and whit or some times the photos use a blue wash.

Swedish house mafia have created a new web site for their latest album Until one. This is were they show there promotion and tasters, and also the web site allow fans to Wright there comments on to the web site, and also as fans they can follow the Swedish house mafia on Twitter and on Face Book.

We have had a problem

Well were to start, it all started when Freddy had to go on uni leave, so I (Will H) am left to do the filming for the dance.  And also our mane character Phil has got detention which means he is not abel to come to the dance.   So as you can imagine this has left me in a difficult situation because i cant do all of the filming by my self and also we wont have enough time on the day.

So we came up with a plan, I will do some filming of the atmosphere of the dance and will also film the DJ.  And then when Freddy comes back we will film a control'd dance, and in hine sight this will look beater as we can control what people are doing, and also we can position people.

so over all we had a problem but now because of it, the film will be much slicker and will look at lot more professional.
